SMALL Members Invited to Apply to the Renegade Chicago Mini Market
Can’t wait for RCF in September? You will be excited to hear that Renegade Craft Fair will be hosting a lively outdoor Mini Market on June 21st + 22nd at Mana Contemporary Chicago (2233 S. Throop St.) from Noon to 6pm!
This pop-up will be part of a new event series we’re launching. More intimate versions of our Flagship events, these markets will showcase the craft and design community as well as celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of a particular city or neighborhood.
For this event, we will be collaborating with the innovators behind Version Festival: The Public Media Institute.
For the past 13 years, Version Festival has introduced innovative projects that tackle local social and urban issues. The festival highlights projects and people that engage public interest and promote the cultural use of public space. Renegade is thrilled to explore this year’s theme of Version Festival 14: The Placemakers. The Chicago Mini Market
will be an exceptional one-off event offering up local goods and amazing festivities, boasting 80+ indie-craft makers, delicious food + booze, shipping container art installations, bocce ball, community-based workshops, music and much, much more!
